Margo Thomas

Margo Thomas was born and raised in The Bahamas, an island chain just south, east of Florida. She is the wife of Byron Thomas, mother of Antonia Morris and grandmother of Alexander Agenor.

 

Proverbs 31:28: "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” To her daughter, Margo is known as, “Ma”. To her grandson, she is known as, “Gigi”.

 

Margo completed her A.A degree in Accounting at The College of The Bahamas and earned her BBA in Accounting at Valdosta State University. She currently serves as the Program Director for Take Stock in Children at Tallahassee Community College, providing mentoring, college-readiness and scholarships for students in low-income families who, predominantly will be the first in their families to attend college.
